“Seek first the kingdom
of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
The residential discipleship program began in 1977 with three men,
mentored by Pastor Walt. Today, both men and women disciples are housed in the
Phoenix
Dream Center, with a capacity
of two hundred participants.
The program has three phases. The first six months is an intense Christian boot-camp with its daily Bible classes,
personal assignments, intense physical training, Christian Overcomers’ Class, outreaches to the poor and rigid accountability. No fees are charged. With the help of
the Holy Spirit, the goal is a new life, free of addictions, bad habits and unproductive lifestyles that impede spiritual
growth. The second six months is designed to provide advanced life skills and
work preparation, allowing for part-time employment. Spiritual training continues. In the third phase, full-time employment is the goal, with mentoring for a full transition
into society.
